Hey there and happy Friday!

For the entire month of September I am going to release a blog post to highlight a helpful tool for virtual learning! While these are great tools for virtual learning, they will also transition well to in person learning too!

This week our focus is on all things Google Keep!

Google Keep is my FAVORITE tool. I believe Google Keep is one of the most overlooked features on Google. Everyone uses Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, and Meet, but rarely do I come across a teacher who uses Google Keep.

If you’re a lover of checklists, you will LOVE Google Keep.

Google Keep is the simplest tool to use and you can utilize it any way you’d like, just choose what works best for you! Here’s how I organize my Google Keep.

I have a separate note for each day with a list of things that need to be complete before the day is over. The subjects I need to plan, the emails I need to send, the meetings I need to attend, and anything else that must get done that day.

Here's a sample of how I organize my Google Keep. It's organized by day and each day has a variety of tasks that need to get done.

The best part of Google Keep is that you can pull it up on the side of any google application you are working on.

From gmail to slides, the option is always available.

I love pulling Google Keep up on all my Google apps, it stays to the right of the application and you can always see it. Here's an example of what it looks like when it is pulled up on gmail.

Here's an example of Google Keep pulled up on slides. Like I said, I LOVE having it pulled up on all the applications. Also, sneak peek of a resource coming to a TPT near you soon. ;)

You’re probably wondering why you would use Google Keep when you could just keep a running checklist on the notepad in your phone. Simply put, you can pull it up on any google tool. The feature that allows it to be on the side of your screen while you work will constantly remind you what needs to get done and what your priorities are for that day.

The option to have google keep up at all times is a game changer. I do not have to constantly open a new app to see what needs to get done, it can be up on the side of my screen at all times. Google Keep is the greatest way to create the never ending checklists as a teacher.

Google Keep will change your life once you start using it, I promise. Once you start, you'll never go back to your old way of making checklists.

Plus, you can make the cover image super cute and what teacher doesn't love a cute font?
